Visiting The National Botanic Gardens of Wales will provide you with a very interesting day in really beautiful surroundings. Watch their latest film about a scheme to encourage growing wild flowers for the community!
The best thing about the garden is its setting among the glorious Carmarthenshire countryside. Located just a few miles east of Carmarthen visitors will spot the sign for it off the main A40 a few miles after Cross Hands. Often there are special events and days with a massive range of activities planned throughout the year to suit everyone. There are fun family activities every day - all summer long at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. If you are a bit of a nature detective and enjoy a good Bug Hunt or if you like dressing up and making lotions, potions, arts and crafts, the Botanic Garden is the place for you this summer. The Bird of Prey Centre is located on site for those who love to meet owls and other big birds of prey close up! And, if it rains, don’t worry: they have the world’s largest single span glasshouse to keep you dry!
