Restrictions ease in May

May 9, 2021

This month we see restrictions easing in Wales while the rates of infection remain low despite the opening up of things in the past few weeks. Please visit here for more information.

Our visitors tend to prefer to visit outdoor attractions but soon there will be more choice as restrictions ease in May. Castles such as the one below are always a firm favourite!

Gyms, leisure centres and swimming pools can now reopen, albeit with strict procedures in place. For those visiting this also means more tourist attractions will be fully open plus in a few days time pubs and restaurants will be able to serve customers inside. All of Wales is at Alert Level 3.

We are now fully booked until 9 October 2021 but occasionally we do get a cancellation so please message me if you would like to go on the list!

in the middle of May we shall expect further easing with for example indoor hospitality opening which means you will be able to book a table to eat inside at one of the many great places to eat.

It’s been a cold Spring on the whole with cold winds too. This means my garden is around 2 weeks behind. Lupine and alliums which normally flower here in early May are still not out. I’m imagining when it warms up a bit the garden will explode! I have a queue of small bedding plants waiting patiently in the greenhouse or being hardened off by day.
