St Fagans National Museum near Cardiff is hugely recommended as a stop off when you are planning your trip to Old Oak Barn.
The amount and range of exhibits is brilliant and the grounds themselves ae lovely too. One of our favourites is the immaculately laid out shop!
St Fagans is open 10am – 5pm daily (inc Bank Holiday Mondays)
Entry is free!
There is a good cafe and plenty of picnic tables within the site. St Fagans National Museum of History is happy to welcome trained assistance dogs. All dogs are allowed in all other areas, but must be kept on short leads at all times. Within the main building there are some permanent exhibitions and some that change on a regular basis. Please check out the website for more info. Coming up soon are courses too including live lambing at Llwyn-yr-eos farmhouse on site in March which is always very popular. Check out the video footage!
We hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did recently!
